Field note

Rain after commits

A short note on shipping work, closing the laptop, and letting a project breathe.

There is a nice moment after a small release when the work stops asking to be explained.

The page loads. The links behave. The writing sits where it should.

At that point the best next step is often to leave it alone for an evening.

Good personal sites tend to benefit from that pause. A little distance makes it easier to see what feels lasting and what was only there because it was possible to add.
